In addition to the exhibition, there will be quilting demos in the gallery throughout the month and the opportunity to purchase raffle tickets for the annual raffle quilt (which will be on view throughout the month)!

Quilting demos:

Head to the Bear Gallery between 12-6 pm Monday-Friday for quilting demos with members of the Cabin Fever Quilters’ Guild!

Quilting demo schedule:

  • Week 1 – Racetrack Quilts
  • Week 2 – Disappearing 9-notch
  • Week 3 – Y2 Square Triangles
  • Week 4 – Making table runners from scratch

Members of the public are invited to join in and help the quilters make one quilt-top a week.

Cabin Fever Quilters’ Guild (CFQG) is a non-profit organization with members who share a passion for quilting. The guild meets monthly and new members are always welcome. CFQG is a community-service oriented group, and donates quilts to all members of families whose homes have burned. In addition, CFQG donates many quilts to the Quilts of Valor program for members of the military.
