All Gazebo Nights concerts are free and open to the public.
Fairbanks Arts Association is proud to announce the return of Gazebo Nights, its free outdoor concert series, for the summer of 2026. This season, weekly Monday evening concerts will feature The Alaska Wompus Cats at the Pioneer Park Gazebo, bringing decades of musical experience and a deep commitment to Interior Alaska’s live music scene.
Gazebo Nights concerts are free and open to the public, made possible through the generous support of Fairbanks Arts Association’s donors and members. Each performance runs from 6:00–7:00 pm at the Pioneer Park Gazebo.

About The Alaska Wompus Cats
The Alaska Wompus Cats are veterans of Interior Alaska’s music scene, with a collective legacy spanning more than 50 years. Bandleader Kit Carson brings his signature guitar work and vocals, joined by Fred Weiss on bass and vocals, drummer Arnie, and Elaine on mountain dulcimer and vocals. The band plays all styles for all audiences and has built a reputation for professionalism and heart that keeps fans coming back season after season.

Gazebo Nights is a free summer concert series presented by Fairbanks Arts Association at the Pioneer Park Gazebo. The series is supported by Fairbanks Arts Association’s donors and members as part of the organization’s ongoing commitment to making the arts accessible throughout Interior Alaska.
Celebrating 60 years of arts and community, Fairbanks Arts Association has served as a creative home for artists, audiences, and cultural experiences since 1966. A nonprofit local arts agency promoting contemporary and traditional arts in Alaska’s Interior, Fairbanks Arts serves as the official arts organization for the City of Fairbanks and the Fairbanks North Star Borough. Through programs in the visual, literary, performing, and arts education disciplines, Fairbanks Arts supports creativity and connection across the region.
