Join Fairbanks Arts and Venue for the 2019 First Friday Opening Reception of Rarefied Light, a juried exhibition sponsored by Alaska Photographic Center, Anchorage – the largest annual fine art photography exhibition in the state. Out of 525 entries, New York City based juror Bob Sacha selected 55 photographs by 34 artists for inclusion in this year’s exhibition – 9 of whom are from Alaska’s Interior!
Best of Show is awarded to J. Jason Lazarus, Fairbanks, for Absent Lake with Captive Conifer, Gakona, Alaska.
In addition, Bob chose 5 pieces for the honorable mention award:
