Carrie Aronson in her studio

Our gift shop artist of the month for August is local artist Carrie Aronson! Carrie Aronson’s passion for metalwork started when she was hired as an apprentice jeweler. She was originally hired to do beadwork — learning the basics in jewelry-making and metalwork opened a new chapter in her career. Many of her Alaskan-inspired pieces are crafted from sterling silver and are accented by gemstones, gold, and beads. Carrie resides in Fairbanks and works from her home studio, and her work can be found online and at seasonal events throughout the year. We are pleased to feature Carrie’s designs in our gift shop throughout the month of August!
