Fairbanks Arts Literary Reading Series Featuring
Contributors from Alaska Women Speak
Saturday, November 3rd at 6pm
Alaskan women have stories to tell and Alaska Women Speak is their outlet, a journal devoted to their expression of ideas, literature and art. The magazine is published quarterly and put together by all-volunteer work.
Want to be a part of Alaska Women Speak? The editors welcome submissions in the following genres: non-fiction, poetry, fiction, memoir, creative non-fiction, and essay. They also publish work from visual artists and welcome Cover Art/Photo submissions. AWS proposes a theme for each of its quarterly installments, but considers interesting and well-written pieces outside the proposed theme as well.
If you are looking to pick up the most current issue of Alaska Women Speak, you can find your copy at Barnes and Noble in Fairbanks and Anchorage, The Babbling Book in Haines, Fireside Brooks in Juneau, Fairbanks Arts’ Bear Gallery Gift Shop, among other locations.
