Join Alaska State Council on the Arts for this biennial conference open to all – including artists, arts organizations, educators, individuals, businesses, and leaders focused on vitality and resiliency, contributing to Alaska’s growing creative industries through the arts.
Alaska State Council on the Arts’ 2018 Alaska Arts Convergence, INTER: CONNECT, will be held in Fairbanks, Alaska, September 6-8, 2018. ASCA is pleased to work with Fairbanks Arts Association as the co-hosting organization for this special gathering. INTER:CONNECT is made possible with support from The Alaska Arts & Culture Foundation.
This year’s conference explores how arts, culture and creativity activate networks and communities to move toward an innovative and inspired future for Alaska. The role that each of our individual voices play in this challenge is an important element of the conference.
Participants will strengthen relationships and networks to support their work, exchange stories, ideas and knowledge about the value of arts and cultures in Alaska and discover and fortify practical skills and resources needed to do their work as individuals and groups.
