Craft community with Fairbanks Arts and Pioneer Park at the Handmade Holiday Market! This gathering aims to connect artists, artisans, and creatives with the broader community and with one another. It is a celebratory Market for promoting locally crafted art, treats, and objects resulting from time, skill, and creativity. The 2023 Market event welcomed over 3,500 visitors from around Interior Alaska!
This is an inclusive, family-friendly event– in addition to vendors, the Market features musicians, a charitable “CommuniTree” where guests can leave gifts for a local charity, free train rides, Pioneer Park’s annual tree lighting ceremony, and more. The Handmade Holiday Market is also an important fundraising and outreach event for Fairbanks Arts Association as a nonprofit whose mission is to promote the arts in Interior Alaska.
Interior Alaskan artists, artisans, and makers age 18+ who wish to help Fairbanks Arts create a unique holiday gathering for the community are welcome to apply. Before applying, please carefully review the eligibility parameters below. You can also review the complete Vendor Information and Policies here.

Vendor Eligibility & Information
Artists, artisans, and makers age 18+ may apply as a vendor. Goods sold at the Market must be of quality and handmade or self-produced by the applying vendor. Vendor work must be their own, original handcrafted work and not violate any copyright laws. What do we mean by handmade or self-produced? Creations should be original and crafted by hand by the applying vendor—whether through traditional techniques, assembly that includes considerable self-designed and/or hand-crafted components, or unique artistic processes.
What is ineligible?
- No kits, copies, or exact replicas (master copies) of other artists’ original artwork
- No copies of any published images or copyrighted characters (e.g., Disney)
- Items that are mass-produced
- Multi-level-marketing procured objects
- Artworks/objects purchased from a company or other artist and assembled by the vendor
Images and descriptions of products to be sold at the market should be detailed within the application. If described and depicted items fall outside the eligibility criteria, an application will not be approved. If a vendor’s application is approved and they bring items to the Market that are ineligible for the Market and/or are found to violate any copyright or intellectual property laws, a vendor may be asked to remove ineligible items and may not be invited to future Fairbanks Arts Market events.
