Laurie G. Robertson

 

Laurie enjoys living in Fairbanks, Alaska, and has published two fiction books. As an author, she believes creating stories with interesting characters inspire greater connection and community building. It is clear to her that life’s adventures – happy or sad – are best when shared.

Her debut novel is
Crossing at Sweet Grass, a historical western romance fiction. Crossing at Sweet Grass was awarded i-Universe Editor’s Choice, Shelf Unbound, Runner-Up, and was a NIEA Finalist in 2017.This book is an entertaining, multicultural read that will take you away to another time and place to experience healing and connection.

Laurie’s second book,
The Ascension Circus Comes to Town, is a poetry book inspired by circus themes in a magical town called Long Board Beach. Do you believe a poem can inspire you for the whole day? Let the circus poems work their magic!

During the Literary Reading, she will share from both of her books and will even give a small preview of her soon-to-be published new work!
