Very Special Arts (VSA) is an annual festival full of hands on arts activities, music & dancing for FNSBSD youth with disabilities.
Stay tuned for the date of our next
Very Special Arts Festival
Fairbanks Arts Association would like to thank Mt. McKinley Bank, Spenard Builders Supply, FNSBSD Art Center, the students of Ryan Middle School, Spinners & Weavers Guild, National Park Service, Pavva Dancers, UAF Museum of the North, Fairbanks Arts Board members, and so many wonderful volunteers and artists for making the Very Special Arts Festival a success!
Fairbanks Arts seeks year-round donations of art supplies for this wonderful event: tempera paint, paintbrushes, paper, stamps, stickers, and more are put to creative use. If you have supplies that you would like to contribute to this event, please bring them to the Fairbanks Arts office on the 1st floor of Alaska Centennial Center for the Arts in Pioneer Park (2300 Airport Rd.).
If you are interested in learning more or getting involved with next year’s festival, contact Fairbanks Arts Association’s Education Coordinator at 456-6485 ext. 222 or email education@fairbanksarts.org.
