Fairbanks Arts’ 2022 Handmade Holiday Market

Saturday, November 26, 2022, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.

Exhibit Hall, Alaska Centennial Center for the Arts in Pioneer Park,

2300 Airport Way, Fairbanks, AK 99701

Fairbanks Arts Association will host the Handmade Holiday Market at Pioneer Park this holiday season!

There will be over 70 vendors this year offering a wide variety of handmade goods, including botanical jewelry, sweet treats, soaps, pottery, crocheted dolls, and more. Come out to support your local artists and artisans and bring home unique, personal gifts!

In addition to vendors, there will be live music, a silent auction, and the Pioneer Park Christmas tree lighting at 5 p.m. There will also be activities for children, including train rides through the park, story-time, craft time, and chances to meet Santa from 1–4 p.m.

All proceeds from the silent auction, gift-wrapping station and bake sale will directly support Fairbanks Arts. Some of the incredible silent auction items include a basket with assorted vintage clothes and accessories from Bad Mother, a swag basket and gift certificate from Black Spruce Brewing, a gift card and tumbler from Littel Owl, two tickets from Fairbanks to Denali on the Alaska Railroad, and a private outdoor rockclimbing experience for up to six people! Plus many more awesome locally donated items!

Fairbanks Arts has served Interior Alaska for more than 50 years, believing that the arts are a crucial facet of community health and seeking to enhance lives by offering quality, accessible arts experiences and connecting others to build community success. We work with businesses and affiliate members to foster a vibrant arts community and offer quality visual, literary, performing, and arts education programming, and serve as a resource to artists and arts organizations.

Join Fairbanks Arts in Crafting Community during our Handmade Holiday Market. We will have a CommuniTREE designated for you to donate to Bread Line, Inc. Bread Line is an anti-hunger organization serving the Fairbanks community since 1984. Bread Line depends on grants, donations and volunteers to feed Fairbanks. Bread Line could use your help in providing snacks, socks, hats, gloves, hand-warmers, etc., to help our community members in need. Bring in some goods to place under the tree at the market, or support local artists and consider purchasing your donation for Bread Line, Inc. at the Handmade Holiday Market!

The Handmade Holiday Market is on Saturday, November 26 (Small Business Saturday), from 10–5 p.m. in the Alaska Centennial Center for the Arts in Pioneer Park.

During the Handmade Holiday Market, the Bear Gallery will be open for the final day of Limited Edition: An Exhibition of Small Works! This exhibition features artwork no larger than 12-inches in any direction made by Interior Alaskan artists; all works are for sale and available to take home on the spot.
