Jill Osier will be reading from her newest chapbook of poems, from (Bull City Press, 2018).  Her work includes two previous chapbooks, Bedful of Nebraskas anjill osier photo B&Wd Should Our Undoing Come Down Upon Us White, winner of the 2013 Frost Place Chapbook Competition.  A former Diane Middlebrook Poetry Fellow and George Bennett Fellow, Osier is the recipient of a National Endowment for the Arts Fellowship, a Rasmuson Individual Artist Award, and an Alaska Literary Award.  She is a graduate of UAF’s Creative Writing Program and lives in Fairbanks.

 

 

Lela Markham is the pen name of local Alaskan novelist, Lauri Sliney, whAuthor Pic Davidson Ditch Wideo was raised in a home built of books. A multi-genre writer, Lauri has published tales of fantasy, alternate history, apocalyptic, and political satire. She has work in progress for literary fiction, new adult, YA, mystery, and her nemesis, romance.   Lauri shares her life with her adventuresome husband, two fearless offspring and an extremely-happy yellow Lab.
