Gazebo Nights Summer Performance Series features live performances every night of June, July, and August. Performances take place in the white gazebo near Gold Rush town in Pioneer Park and are FREE to attend from 7-8pm. If there is rain, sometimes performances will take place indoors in the Alaska Centennial Center for the Arts. (If there is a cancellation, if possible we will post on our Fairbanks Arts Facebook page as soon as we know).
August Schedule
Sundays in August (5-12-19-26)
Steve Moore, Standards & Country Rock
Steven Moore – 60 year old single father of a ten year old son (full time). I’d like to think my music tells stories & helps people feel good while listening. I enjoy Buddy Holly, Little Richard, Eddie Cochran & the older musicians from the 1950’s .
Mondays in August (6-13-20-27)
Old Pete came to Alaska in the 1880s to “Teach those folks how to mine gold.” Along the way he had more than one adventure.
Join Martin Miller, Storyteller to hear how Old Pete came to be known as Grizly Pete, and changed the way gold mining was done in Alaska forever.
Martin tells traditional and original folk tales, the occasional Robert Service verse, and (once in a while) juggles before and after the show.

“I’m a native of the Philadelphia music scene that came to Fairbanks, Alaska by way of The Army Band. They also participate in the Fairbanks Youth Orchestra and the Alaska Cello Intensive. Their music is a blend of their classical music repertoire, along with popular music selections that they have arranged for string trio. The name of their group, Triple Play, is a nod to one of their other favorite pastimes – baseball!
