The Visual Arts Committee (VAC) is a group of citizens who come together to assist with the visual arts programing at the Fairbanks Arts Association. Members help with exhibit set-ups and are involved in making decisions about the gallery and other events throughout the year. The Visual Arts Committee meets in the Bear Gallery at 5:30 pm on the 3rd Wednesday of the month, quarterly. New members are always welcome. The Visual Arts Committee is fortunate to have other visual arts organizations serve as resources: Fairbanks Watercolor Society, Fairbanks Weavers and Spinners Guild, Cabin Fever Quilter’s Guild, Camera Arts, and the UAF Student Art Club.
