Sitka 2013 ArtiGras Music & Arts Festival

Dear Friends of the Fairbanks Arts Association,

We are pleased to announce a call for artists and contributions to the 5th Annual Wearable Art Show and Runway Extravaganza as part of the 2013 ArtiGras Music & Arts Festival in Sitka, AK.

The Greater Sitka Arts Council has set dates for the 5th Annual Wearable Art Show and Runway Extravaganza in 2013!  Shows will be Thursday, March 7th and Friday, March 8th with a dress rehearsal on Wednesday, March 6th.  The Greater Sitka Arts Council would be delighted to have any of our local Fairbanks wearable-art artists participate.  If you are interested in making a contribution to the show but are unable to attend in person, arrangements will be made for a model to wear the piece at the show.

The wearable art show is part of the 6th Annual ArtiGras Music & Arts Festival running from March 1st to the 16th and includes a singer/songwriter event, Dr. Noize, a children’s concert, tattoo as body art contest, a 48-hour film festival, the “Ode to Sitka” art show, and more!
